You Never Know

As a parent, it is easy to become discouraged and feel that you aren't doing enough or that you are a failure. Life often seems like a juggling act between the many responsibilities you have and you wonder if you will ever get ahead or feel on top. Studies show that this is a common for parents of all types to feel this way now and then. You are not alone! How then, can parents overcome feelings of guilt, dissatisfaction, and failure? Take a look at this video then we will talk more.

The key is perspective. Despite the every day ups and downs and the craziness that often comes with being a parent, you are doing a wonderful job! No parent is a perfect parent. We each have weaknesses and shortcomings. However, we must remember to keep our sights set on the bigger picture. Your role as a parent is important and life changing, for both you, and the children that you are raising. You are making a difference every day. You are loved and appreciated even when it may not seem so. Keep your head up, look for the positives, realize that you are making a difference even if you can't see it.
